I was a bit anxious after not having been to the dentist in a few years, but Johanna, the hygienist that I saw, was so kind and compassionate during the x-rays and cleaning. I was completely at ease. She talked me through everything she was doing and checked in throughout to make sure I was feeling ok. My teeth felt so smooth afterwards! I am incredibly thankful that my first visit back to dental care in a while was such a great experience! Then I saw Dr. Noor who was also very friendly and thorough. I did have some follow-up treatment to schedule, but she also seemed conservative, explaining what should be treated now, versus what we could wait and monitor. I appreciated that approach. She also answered all of my questions. Everyone else in the office that I encountered was really friendly and considerate. They seemed to all get along really well, while also maintaining a very professional environment. I’ve only had one visit to Downtown Dental (loop) so far, but based on that experience, I would definitely recommend it - especially if you see Johanna and Dr Noor!

My dental hygienist Ken did a WONDERFUL job cleaning my teeth. He was patient and very kind. He explained everything in detail. Never discouraged any questions. Give him a RAISE!

Timaya my hygienist was awesome i ask her alots of questions regarding my procedures and she was very very detailed i must say when i walked in i was very nervous but after talking to timaya she made me feel at ease and comfortable you all should be proud to have such a awesome hygienist on your team keep up the fantastic work Timaya you rock !!!!!!!!!!!

Tatiana gave the most thorough cleaning I've ever had anywhere. Very skilled and attentive. And the Doctor was also great, helping with a matter that needed attention.

I was so happy to find Dr Hanna while visiting Chicago! My trip was not going well after an extraction a week before back home in Canada. She got me out of pain and offered advice to relieve ongoing tenderness until I returned home. Thank you so much for rescuing me during my vacation!!

I was referred to Downtown Dental after a bad experience with my previous dentist recommending work (a crown) that didn’t need to be done (at least not yet). I’ve been going to Downtown Dental for six or seven years now. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I will eventually need a crown on that tooth, but I really value that they don’t recommend any dental work that I don’t actually need.

I had the absolute worst fear of the dentist; everything about it terrified me especially when the doctors are harsh or lack empathy. I’m currently seeing Dr. Noor Ahmad with the wonderful assistance of Irene for my dental plan. Because of them (and the help of Downtown Dental River North for my wisdom teeth removal with Dr. John Chae !!) I no longer panic about the thought of going to the dentist. This team is so kind, supportive, and communicative. Dr. Noor works so swiftly but so calmly and consistently makes sure her patients are doing okay. I’m extremely grateful that I’ve found a dentist who I not only trust but can actually look forward to visiting with confidence instead of fear. Thank you Downtown Dental !!

I have been coming to downtown dental since 2010 or earlier. They have the best dental hygienists. Cleaning was never a nightmare when the former dentist stop cleaning my teeth again. I love Johanna Smith these days. She is super professional and even use her favorite brand of dental floss for her client. Super great energy too. I had filler, tooth pulled, root canal and implant here. All were great experiences and people who work here are caring and professional.

Outstanding customer service on the phone and welcoming me in to the office for my first time. The office is located right in the Loop on with very easy access. Dr. Cummings was amazing and provided his recommendation for the procedure that was best for me. We also discussed alternative procedures and this helped me to easily confirm our treatment plan was the best for me. His team reviewed the detailed costs and provided suggestions how to get my insurence further involved. Big thank you all for your swift action in getting me in same day!
